Catholic kid humor

My son and I have been praying the St. John Vianney novena the past few days. The first day I was explaining how to pray a novena and I pointed to the parenthesis and said "Now you have to put Father's name here". He replied "Can I do it?" It then dawned on me that he wanted to put his name in each day "with a pen" from my purse(where it says "insert intention here"...yep). Ah, youth. To be young, naive and innocent again.
