So I'm sick, sore throat, achy, sinus thing. I'm reading on Fr. Z site that he always gets a sore throat when he gets his throat blessed. Guess what we did after Mass on Sunday? I suppose I should be offering this up instead of grumbling and crabbing. Oh, and I lost my voice today. I need to get work completed and this is a definite deterrent. So, those of you thinking of getting your throat blessed....
Fr. Z thinks it is a joke on the saint's part. Tis an odd thing, for sure.

the priest at mass today had a bad sore throat
that's kind of funny. sorry. I think that if I ever get to be a saint (haha, I know) I will probably play tricks like St. Blaise.
Yesterday when we went to Mass, my 16 year old son had a sore throat and I made him go up and get it blessed (he didn't want to). When we walked out, he was all amazed because his sore throat was gone. Perhaps his was taken away because he needs the faith building...
