I am all over this!!!! Praying for the girls, but I am also praying I win this blog give away!
I can not seem to find the Our Lady material anywhere....??
:)
Pick me! :) St. Therese is a great intercessor. Also Mother Teresa. I visited her convent in Tijuana and they told me that infertility was her specialty!
wow, those are some beautiful fabrics, and the rosary case is so cute (rosary not included, funny)i'll pray and offer up standing in the cold while my kids sled.
Most definitely prayers being offered. We will remember their intentions (and yours) during our Morning Prayer litany. When I read your request, I couldn't help thinking about St. Therese and her roses and then that lead me to Our Lady of Guadalupe and her roses in winter. I pray for roses and grace for these dear friends of yours.
Oh yay, and I am offering up control over my current situation and my infertility plan is now in God's hand and no longer in mine! :)
I have a great one! Tonight (about 2 hours ago) I was in the grocery store and I saw a little feller walking with his mom. I did a double take.
A couple of years ago I ran into an old friend that I had known when I was in high school. She had pictures at a photomaker that I was waiting for so we chatted for a bit. I had just one or two kids with me so I was happy to tell her we had five kids (at the time) but I was very surprised to find out she had none (she'd been married for a long time and came from a big family). I knew that her sister had adopted babies so I just made some assumptions that she had trouble and said some good prayers for her at adoration. Fast forward to tonight...
it was HER! Her little guy had an Asian look about him so I thought maybe he was her sister's baby so I lingered a little as I passed until I heard her say to him, "...come over here by Mama..." and I turned around and said, "Is he YOURS!" and I asked all the nosey questions about where he came from and how old he was when she got him...she's really hoping to get another baby soon so I will be sending more prayers for her so that HER "flower basket" can be FULL. She's a very loving lady and you can see that she's VERY proud of her beautiful little boy.
I have so much happiness for her and her family tonight!
whoopsie! i signed in as my daughter, trina...that was me, Laura!
wow, mama please pray for me...that's some powerful stuff you got there ;)
What a wonderful idea for a giveaway! I will be praying and please enter me too in the contest if I am not too late! God Bless:)
I am probably too late, but I LOVE that Rosary fabric!!
I prayed to St. Therese after I read this the other night. I prayed for everyone suffering from infertility, of course, but having just lost my grandma, I also prayed that St. Therese would watch over her and take our prayers for the repose of her soul to the Lord. There were roses all around at her wake and at the funeral, and when everyone was picking flower arrangements to take home with them, my mom picked a dozen pink roses, which we had in the house all weekend. Who knows.. that might have been the Little Flower's sign to me that my prayers were heard!
