Weekend news

I've had a rather bumpy week. Kids were on spring break and the weather was rather chilly. Honestly, I avoided posting. FEMALE TALK WARNING. I was late, took a series of 3 pregnancy tests, the last was positive. By the end of the week, I had, what I believed to be a very early miscarriage(possibly a chemical pregnancy). I was on cloud nine Easter Sunday until about 3 days ago. I will call the doctor this week and discuss a plan. I truly believe I have a luteal phase defect. I am currently on Vitex, Vitamin E, B-6 and Folic Acid. So I will keep hoping and praying. What else can I do? Honestly, the way things happened over the last week, it felt like a cruel joke. I will go back on Clomid if I need to. We have also discussed adoption more seriously. Right now, I'm just in the emotional recovery stage. I found some blogs of women who are on the same page as I am and reading their journey does bring some comfort. I will add them to my sidebar. Thank you for listening to my rambling. It somehow feels better to get it out.

So sorry to hear about your loss of your little angel. Prayers are with you.

Our spring break was fun with the kids - hard to have them go back to school. Only 2 more mo. and summer vacation!

Thornie,

I thought I had LPD too.

I took progesterone cream and it seemed to lengthen them a bit.

Praying for you --- what a horrid thing. I am so sorry.

Keep eating well....your luteal phase may be shorter but that is only a reflection of the egg quality that preceeded it. The egg from that corpus luteum probably wasn't the best quality and therefore the corpus luteum left behind wasn't going to be top notch either. I see you've included folic acid in your plan...now how about some enzymes to absorb it well? Make sure u include that b/c folic acid needs good levels of hydrochloric acid to be digested effectively. It is dependant on that. I speak to this in an article called "Successful Conception Begins with Good Egg Quality", You can get HCL included in digestive enzymes...many don't include that so make sure it's in there. Now Foods makes a great one called "Super Enzymes"..you might just be someone who doesn't have the best digestion so the folic acid as well as many other nutrients can't get into your eggs. That will be a big factor if your more mature.....God Bless, I'm so sorry about your miscarriage....Lord knows I've been there...been there too much. Hang in there and eat well...exercise too! Thank you all. Just an update, the doctor wants me to go in tonight folr some bloodwork. I will get results in the morning. I hope to get to Mass tonight. I need to pull through this spiritually more than anything.
Lyn, I have Solaray's Super Digestaway and I forgot to add that I have been taking chewable acidopholis. If this was truly a m/c, I agree. I was diagnosed as having low estrogen at this time last year. This last cycle, O came on day 21. Way to late, I think.
