I knew it, I just didn't know I knew it.
That title is a quote from a priest I once knew but pertains to what happened last night. After dinner at my parents, we came home and cracked open one of the gifts for my daughter and I to play. It's a karaoke game for the Nintendo Wii system that features all the songs from High School Musical 1 and 2 plus some extras. Um, I knew most of the songs. Didn't know I knew that. Apparently, playing the songs in the car, they have seeped into my brain. Then I stayed stayed up an hour later to master some of the harmony parts on songs and "unlock new features". Here I am waking up the next day and the little Thorn wants to play again. Hmmmm. It's interactive, it's fun and clean. Can't say no to that, can I? As a side note, Mr. Thorn fell asleep while I was competitively singing.

my cousin got a Wii system too and said she and her family played together for 6 hours straight!
Great post...
do they have "singing in the rain?"(wii, i mean.)
i could sing that for 6 hours
It is addictive and there should be some 12 step programs forthcoming. I call it "getting my mommy geek on".
Oh, cordelia, no SInging in the Rain. You will have to make us all a You Tube video and show us....lol.
ha ha! friends have a wii and they said it was very addictive!! but good family fun nontheless!!
p.s. how was your EF Christmas Mass?
cordelia, it was very nice. Many new faces, hope it continues to grow.
True confession: I've yet to see High School Musical or the follow on. Which is odd, given that I'm such a musical theatre geek....now mind I've heard other friends bagging on this thing, but I've been meaning to get around to seeing it! Sounds like more fun than anything. I mean, no one's expecting My Fair Lady or Gypsy!
