For today

"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you." 1 Peter 5:10

I found this to be helpful right now. I'm feeling a bit crampy and a little scared. I'm off to the lab soon for my follow-up testing. I hope to have my mind eased soon. I want nothing more than to totally trust God. Why is it so hard? Why doubt?

Saw your blog on Florida Wifes site. You have a terrific blog and quite a talent for words, I've really enjoyed reading it.

I don't know if this helps at all.. I have four kids and had two miscarriages and with my three of my four kids I cramped, with my second child I cramped from 8 weeks to 16 weeks and then one day it just stopped. With number 3 and 4 I had on and off cramps during the first 3 months of pregnancy.

My mom spotted and cramped while pregnant with my brother and thought for sure she would lose him but she didn't.

Cramping can mean many things and not all of them bad either, I know my doctors said the "stretching" of ligaments in your groin and abdomen will cause cramps.

You will be in my prayers... I know it is NOT fun to not know what is going on and of course we need to lean on the Lord but we are human and our human nature makes us worry.

Best wishes!!

I went at lunch time today. THe tech said the results will be back in the morning. Sigh....another night. I handed this over to Jesus on Sunday. I am doing everything I can to be healthy and take care. That's all I can do.

Thank you Tracy. It has been almost 7 years since I carried a baby to term. I forget the normal things. My last was a miscarriage and I never expected things to go wrong.

I wouldn't worry about "why you doubt so much" We are not perfect. I used to worry too about this, but then I read St. Teresa of Avila's opinion on the matter and it made me feel better. I can't quote her, but she basically stressed not to worry about any distractions too much. If a doubt pops in your head, oh well. She says all of us have distractions and it is normal and should not be too much of a concern. She advised to just keep your goal in focus and push through it!:)
