A traveler in our pond...

Poor little guy had a cracked shell. He hopped in our pond and couldn't get out.
The kids spent the afternoon worrying about him and feeding him leaves. I spent the afternoon working but tonight I plan on celebrating the beginning of a return to sacredness....in whatever form it may take. I'm just thankful.

I spent the afternoon visiting the Cathedral in Covington down there. Got there just in time for the TLM with Fr. Fitzgerald whom I got to talk to again.

An interesting Church. I can see where they did some reckovations to it like the missing high altar and no altar rails. But it was still great. Didn't like the term "reconciliation room" I saw near the front, heh.

Also are those menorah candles in the Blessed Sacrament chapel??

I hate all those one-way streets around there btw.. grr..

We were there today, sat on the Blessed Sacrament Chapel side. I've learned to overlook many of the wreckovation that went on there. I went to the meetings years ago, we all spoke our peace and I guess I feel it could have been a lot worse(doesn't make it right though). I'm just happy to go to a Mass without crazy surpises at every turn.

Oh, those aren't menorah candles, I think they are really old, however. They actually look really nice when they have an evening Mass over in that chapel.

I was sitting on the left side (in front of the altar) up front with a blue-gray shirt all by myself.

If I'm correct you at over in the kinda dark area?
