New form of nastiness ANONYMOUS TROLL

I've known for sometime that there is an anonymous person commenting on blogs I frequent to insult and belittle me. I've put up with rude comments on my blog as well as 4 or 5 blogs I frequent. I've been called hateful, negative and hard to please. For the newest rant, click here and go to the comments under the entry Can we make it the Arch-Diocese of Covington?.
I love reading Mr. Leonardi's blog, especially since he is a local. I don't appreciate the fact that anonymous posters feel the need to troll my favorite blogs and make rude comments. It is the anonymous poster I feel sorry for. Until you know what it is like to try and raise 3 children(2 autistic) while I run my own business and help keep my family on the path to heaven, don't judge me. I am a VERY positive person going through a very rough time at my parish. If you would like to write a rude anonymous comment, do so with the knowledge that your comment will become blog fodder for my regular readers. I am a very compassionate and loving person but I have limits. Thank you for understanding. My faith is more important than anything in this world to me and I will not let it be the subject of accusations and trash talk.
Here is the newest comment over there:

To get a good picture of what a thorn in the pew is really like take a look at her website. The poor lady has serious problems and is the most negative person I've ever seen. She needs prayer and pity. Nothing pleases her. The Didache series is a blessing.

Thorn, I'll adopt your troll. I need some quality additions to my Victory Endorsements.

That's nice of you. Hopefully they will get their own blog because they don't get it. If they want their opinion heard so badly take out an ad in the paper or get your own blog. It's fairly obvious our little region here locally is fighting orthodoxy tooth and nail.

Yeah...the nastiest comments I've ever gotten have come from people in my own parish.

Hmmm, how oddly similar. I refuse to drink the kool-aid or bury my head when our parishoners have been snowed. I pray every day for our priests and fellow parishoners. It is beyond sad that they fear the truth so intensely.

Thorn, I have had anonymous trolls come to my blog but since I screen all my comments, I do not let them publicly insult me or anyone else. On other blogs, however, I have had trolls come after me. I blame the blog owners for letting their guests be insulted; they should delete the rude, anonymous comments. I stay away from those blogs that allow anonymous posters to insult their visitors. I want no part in such rudeness.

Yes, I need to purge the blogs from my list that have allowed the trolls to post. I pray that the troll may get their own blog and get whatever off their conscience that keeps them up all night. I appreciate your healthy attitude. And some day soon when my children and business have settled, I want to read your book!

I took you advice, they are gone. To allow such things to be published is sad and disrespectful. It will not keep me from speaking the truth. In fact, I have so much more truth to speak. They should not have tipped that scale....the wolves will be pointed out.

I don't take too seriously anything said in the blogosphere, particularly if it's said "anonymously."

Anonymous posters (from my own parish) launching salvos from the sewer at a friend drove me to put the kibosh on anonymous comments. But a good, quality insult (not including vulgarity or obscenity) aimed at me from a fan of the "spirit of Vatican II": now that is worth treasuring.

You need to help ma beck and I pen the new musical "The Spirit of Vatican II". I think it would be an amazing show!
I'm sorry that happened to you. I had some anonymous regulars I liked that made for lively debate. Bad apples doesn't begin to describe my troll anons. More like pseudo-Catholics gone wild. They have much to learn about orthodoxy and Catholic truths. Wouldn't know it if it hit them in the GIRM(if they knew what that was...lol).

Is the theme "Alleluia! Raise the Gospel"? And is the score by Marty Haugen?

Right. I just threw the gauntlet down. I invited them to come over to my blog, that is after I called them liars, slanderers, hypocrites, sycophants and cowards.

OH am I in the mood for a fight.

Those anonymous trolls are fun, aren't they? It's great to see folks display such depth and intelligence in their well-thought-out comments. (I'm being sarcastic of course!) Today I was just told I have a chemical imbalance and need to see a doctor. I wish I could find a way to put that on the main page of my blog! It's just too cute to pass up haha

I've only ever had a few but they weren't all so bad. Not that I'm inviting more! I tried to start a political/religious only blog and keep my main blog separate but I realized that that is all part of who I am and what my family is about so I just post on all of it now. So I'm with ya, sistah!
