Rethinking Communion in the Hand

I found this article from last year when I was researching. We recently had issues at my children's school and I prefer them to receive on the tongue. My boys are both autistic and I don't want to worry about what they would do with the Holy Eucharist so this just works best for us. The whole idea of "particles" also bothers me. The priest takes such care(or should) to clean the vessels that it got me thinking about the particles on the hands from those that receive in that manner. Just some valid points and a bit of history in that article.
