Anyone up for a chore auction?

This was a great idea I found in my searches. We may try this for a spin when school starts up. We need more incentive to get chores completed and timely around here. I hope someone else can use this:

The Family Chore Auction

I have things from the dollar store, small gift certificates plus, I can probably make up cool coupons for things like picking the weekly board game, picking the movie for movie night, $3 toward a favorite snack at the grocery....you get the picture. This is a breath of fresh air for me. At the end of summer, chores around here were getting to be a well, chore. I wonder if this would work to do more often? I can't see mine waiting until the end of the month.
