Yow and wow.

Happy Mother's Day: Woman pregnant with 18th child
18. Happy for them....lol. Seriously, I am. I've decided I'm going to be thrilled, she is older than me and still fertile and pregnant. Shouldn't we all be happy? Someone in "Christian fertility" should do a case study on her diet, nutrition and physiology. Just for kicks. Congrats, Duggars. Okay, okay, you have motivated me. I will keep praying, keep trying and not give up hope. (I'm younger than her, I'm younger, have to keep going. I'm talking to myself) God has given us inspiration by their witness to family and values. Wonder if they will do another show? The one in filming looks like a DH show. Regardless, it is still very cool.

Someone called me a "saint" on Monday night when I told her I had six kids now (I knew her in high school and hadn't talked to her in a while). I'm still not sure how to respond to that one. I'm TRYING to be a saint but fall VERY short of that. I think lots of people could have lots of kids (the fact that they have lots doesn't make them automatically saints!) I always say "no I'm NOT!" but don't know what to say after (the words, "I'm not a saint, just a little crazy/lucky/determined/slightly selfish, I guess" want to come out every time but I'm sure that's not the right thing to say!) that.

(And Laura and Cordelia!)

I'm all for it - the media coverage annoys me (like they're freaks or something). They love and support their kids on their own, it's their business how many, and I think it's great!

Don't give up - I'm praying for you, too! Happy Mother's Day!

I think it is very nice. You once wrote in a post something that I have never forgotten. You said that when you become truly pro-life that you couldn't imagine not having another child. That it's like breathing. I think it is wonderful that the Duggars embrace life completely.

Don't beat yourself up over this though... Mrs Duggar may be "younger" chronologically-speaking, but all of us age and mature biologically at different rates... so keep praying and don't give up hope... but remember it may not happen for you, and it's nothing to do with what age you are!
