Oh. My. Word.

Why on earth would you do the faux-Lord's Prayer ala Protestant version, for the Holy Father? Kathleen Battle is wonderful and all but someone didn't do their research. I suppose it could have been worse, they could have performed "Amazing Grace" or even worser "On Eagle's Wings". Ha ha.
Bush did quote St. Augustine and spoke some, er...Latin. That was nice. Got to go. Pope Benedict is speaking.

Bush's Latin-(snort-was so bad)is that what that was?
Why didn't she sing "Ave Maria" you're always safe with that in a Catholic crowd.

Hello!
Thanx for stopping by my blog.
I have been so excited about Pope
Benedict visiting US. That is us
or U.S.! Ha!
I haven't got to watch much but bits and pieces. I hope that Life or Time come up with a commerative
magazine on his visit.
I wish so bad that I was waiting for a glimpse of his holiness today on Pennsylvania Ave.
Wow!
It would have been incredible.

I did get to hear a bit of Kathleen Battle today on FOX.
I thought she was incredible.
I just keeping thinking that it is the thought that counts and it seems that great effort to welcome the Pope has been extended.

I am really enjoying your blog.
I will be back.

Blessings!
A proud KY Catholic

That was not Kathleen Battle. That was Denyce Graves.

This was the one at the White House, not the Mass. I should have separated or marked them as such.
