It's Sunday. Who took my voice?

I lost my voice. That'll teach me to talk. I spent the last few days with this freaky head cold watching cycles 5 through 9 of America's Next Top Model.(No, I didn't see every episode) It helped pass the time and I still had to work because with market dates coming, I had to sew, sew, sew. My kids don't understand why we are going to church today if I am sick. I think I am through the worst of it, I just feel a bit cruddy and sound like Demi Moore.
I am looking forward to Lent, spring, warm weather, all of that. We still have our tree up but we knew something would have to happen fast when there was over an inch solid of needles on the floor and an entire branch just fell off, ornaments and tinsel intact.
I suppose I should start getting ready for church. Something tells me it will take longer today.

Well, see, this writer's strike has done me in. As a workaholic with three kids, I don't get out much. I didn't want to watch it, I was, er, forced to! Haha! The last cycle was cool because there was a girl on there who had asperger's(like my sons) and I was so thrilled to see that yes she had issues but she was so "normal". That was a treat!

Awww, you poor thing!! The colds and flu have run their share in our home as well, I know how it is to be the mom who is sick and everyone around acts like "what, mom can't get sick" and we feel like we can't... hope you can rest and take it easy as much as possible! Blessings
