Just sick...

Please pray for all seminarians at the Pontifical College Josephinum. I'm so saddened when I hear how bad things are getting there. They can't become the priests that God has called them to be if they can't even get through their discernment and studies without being persecuted or having unjust obstacles put before them. The role of a diocesan priest is so crucial and they need our prayers. I know God allows things for a reason but when I see things unfold, I pray for understanding. It just breaks my heart. So when you think of it this week, please keep the seminarians in your prayers. Dear Lord, protect them and keep them. Give them courage and keep them strong, for they are the future of our Church.

Yes. I just pray someone is sent to clean up and help. This year has been especially bad.

Please pray for these men to be strengthened in their struggles against the utter hatred being shown against the Holy Father's will. Pray also that these men will continue to endure these struggles and carry these crosses as Our Lord carried His Cross to Calvary.

sorry to be a dope, but this isn't the place on Beechmont ave? Where is the Josephinum? What area does it serve?

This is the only pontifical college in the US and is located in Columbus OH. We have many of our seminarians there. The one on Beechmont is The Athenaeum of Ohio.

thanks, thorn, i don't know why i have a mental block about keeping those straight...i know there are good men in the seminary(athenaeum) right now but the "higher ups" haven't changed their tune since the 70's...except for a couple of the advisors...this "vocation crisis" is a total lie, there are plenty of men who want to serve, it's the demonspawn of VII who won't let them.
