My appointment with nurse

I had my intake appointment yesterday. My due date is sitting at April 28th. I had more blood done, a big round of labs. I think if something was wrong with the labs, they would have called today and I haven't heard a thing. My first doctor appointment isn't until October 10th. I need to color my hair badly but I am nervous about doing so. Still very nauseous and gagging. I think that is a positive.

I think this kiddo will be just fine.

Everything I've read says DO NOT color your hair until the second trimester.
Too many chemicals, girlfriend.
You are pregnant, you are beautiful!

We're two weeks apart!! According to my OB/GYN's wheel, I'm due May 15.

Congratulations. Sounds like you're doing well. God bless.

I always heard that you can color in the second trimester for sure, I tried a perm in the 3rd trimester once and it went flat within one month.. oh, those crazy hormones, ha!!

Congrats on being preggers. You can always "offer it up" for now and wear a bandanna. :-D

Yay for nausea and gagging...booooo for those, yucky things! Won't it be nice to get to week 13 or so? I always feel "safer" after that week. By the way, your baby looks more like a baby panda now instead of a salamander. That's gotta be a good thing, right?

I think I fun headcover may be in the works soon. I haven't colored since before we left for Florida so it's getting interesting looking. That's one more bonus about being veiled when I go to church. I read that a coloring that doesn't touch the scalp is okay(like a foil). It is something to do with the dye getting in the scalp.

Laura- ha ha, baby panda. :D

Thorn- I agree that a veil can hide the occasional "ill" that befalls our hair. Yet another good reason for this devotion!

God Bless!
