Yeah, I'm a latecomer. We just rented season one of The Office and it really made me guffaw. I have to say the highlight of the 6 episodes was Healthcare. The diseases the office came up with had me rolling. Hot dog fingers. Still laughing over that one. Since all our shows are over for the summer, we will probably rent Season 2. I think I would probably like the BBC version as well.

There are lots of things that go around the office...or at least that's the impression I get of people's impressions considering the amount of hand sanitizer dispensers on everyone's desk.
I am a latecomer to this as well, watching snippets here and there on youtube. I'm also just getting into the Sopranos now that the last episode was this past week!
Yeah, we have Netflix. We rented Padre Pio and it is lonnnnnnng with subtitles. Still need to finish half of the second disc. Season One on the Office was just one disc, Season Two is multiples.
sir, have not done the Sopranos as we don't get the premium channels. It is hard to say if I would like.
I meant to say I believe NetFlix has the original British Office.
If you can watch that first.
I hate to say it but the American version is *really* sad. It beats me why they even did it at all.

The BBC "version" is not a "version" it is the original.
Having seen both, the US version is NOT funny.
Except that I have been watching bloopers and best of's on YouTube and cracking my butt up. Dwight is a pill. I will watch the BBC original this summer and report back.
