God is Wow. Yep, you heard it here first.

Unless you live near Joliet, that is. I was looking for something totally unrelated and discovered that God is wow. I really had been in the dark regarding this aspect of God.

Four decades of priestly ministry prove ‘God is wow’

During the celebration, Sister Carr explained to the children in the congregation of over 500 people why the theme was appropriate for both of their vocations. She said, “God is bigger than Disney World, stronger than Superman, has more human connections than the Internet and more fun than PS2 and Xbox.”

Huhmph....see, I just had no clue. So moms, next time your kids are fighting over the video games this summer, just give them God.

Yes, doggonit, I am being sarcastic, this is just crazy talk. How are we supposed to teach the sacredness and how unworthy we mere mortals are in the presence of God when someone is comparing Him to an Xbox? I'm particularly fond of the liturgical bunny in the pink get-up.
Okay, this is something I expected to hear at my parish this last year:

For 14 years, they have been ministering to a community with the motto, “We are St. Bernard. Together we are church.”

Arrrrhggggggg!!!!!! We are....not church. Sorry, I got all flustered but that phrase is like nails on a chalkboard. I almost let out an explicative, a bad one. Well be sure and see the nifty pics. Shame there isn't one of the "God is Wow" plaque.
Here is a highschool from the same diocese:

The photos are under copyright so you will have to visit to see the minty green liturgical dancers with the wine and bread in glass. Just precious.
Minty green dancers
What the HECK are they doing? Ok, I got to get back to work...

Any resemblance between this and an actual Mass is purely coincidental.

Yes. Though I still do not totally understand the hub-bub, I have been known to lose it on occasion.
