Ma Beck found a resource for me!
For "A Thorn in the Pew."
I just love the banners. Really. Apparently, Ma Beck is thinking of going into the banner making business(j/k!). I would buy one! I'm thinking of doing a whole room in felt and shiny banners. "Making and Using Processional Banners"
Ahhh.....now that's PAGEANTRY!

If you ever get a chance to go to "Late Night Catechism", go.
It's a one-woman play where a 'nun' is teaching an adult catechism class, and it's very funny and reverent (the author has donated millions of her proceeds to retired nuns, whom she credits with making her who she is today) and the 'set' is a classroom, circa 1968. There are many hilarious felt banners to be seen. And busts of JFK and Pope Paul VI, and much other fun stuff.
There's cheesy canned crap liturgical music playing before the play starts, and during intermission. Mom said it was like a time warp. I quite agree.
I will remember that. They have come through Cincinnati before. You never know what you will get so I am glad to know it is satire for the state of things.
