Practice what you preach...

In recent findings, Al Gore has been using quite a lot of energy. I linked to another report on the number of homes and energy usage in the past but this seems to have been much more thorough.
Gore's average monthly electric bill, the think tank says, is $1,359.
Gore paid a total of nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.
That is just insane. I don't think we have used that much in our 11 years of married life. Granted, I don't live in a mansion with a guest house but I'm still in shock. Click here for the full story: HERE.

Yikes. In the summers we average about $250/month. In the winters anywhere from $75 to $150 or so.

And, yeah, we turn off the light when we exit a room, etc.

But, gosh, $30k is outrageous.
