Vatican Official Notes Catholics' 3 Weaknesses

An interesting assessment of what ails our faithful. It seems to sum up losing our Catholic identity without too much effort as being the central theme of these weaknesses. I think this also points out that the social justice movement in the ranks is misguided to intentionally leave out the unborn and a moral code of ethics in medical advances. Maybe a tad simplified but a fair overview of where we need to go. Personally, the further I grow in my faith, the more I long for the return of the Catholic identity of daily life. I'm sure it is because I grew up with such a lack of traditions and richness when it came to parish life and the sacraments. I still have time and can work on providing these for my children.

Yes, it is a challenge for a parent to create a Catholic environment in order to instill a deep Catholic identity in our children.
