The mighty thyroid

I visited a RE today for thyroid/fertility issues and it is more difficult than I imagined. They are doing the proceedure next week to see if there is a blockage in the fallopian tubes and she warned me it would be painful. Dealing with fertility issues at my age is not something I envisioned as I never had problems before a misscarriage 2 years ago. I came across information from a woman associated with CCL here in Cincinnati who has found a connection between low thyroid function and fertility. Her name is Marilyn Shannon and she has written a book on nutrition for women. Since my thyroid bloodwork came back normal, they aren't testing for anything else. I called my OB/GYN hoping for something as I have so many symptoms associated with hypothyroidism. I will talk to him on Monday. Sometimes I really believe CCL and the Pope Paul VI Institute know more about women's health than the general medical field. I will update as I know more.
