Dead Malls
This is a site full of malls that have gone under/out of business. It's spooky because the retail sector is hurting right now. I thought it was a cool site. It has a list of retail chains that have disappeared too. Anyone remember Gold Circle or Zayers? I miss Woolworth's most of all. We had a wonderful multi-floored one in downtown Covington.

We have an outdoor, outlet mall in our town and that sucker is BOOMING! Even in the dead of winter when it was forty below, people would come and shop. I personally think that they are NUTS but it bodes well for retail. I am shocked that a mall like that would do so well but it really does! Most of the stores are just retail and not even outlets!
