Outrageous

California Court Rules Homeschooling Illegal
Smith added, "California is now on the path to being the only state to deny the vast majority of homeschooling parents their fundamental right to teach their own children at home."

I got a great idea. Let's vote in a democrat and make this ruling launch a nationwide home-schooling ban. I had a feeling that after the German case, the US wouldn't be far behind. America is becoming the socialist country our soldiers have fought to protect us against. And that....is frightening.

The scariest thing is that if it goes through, theres not a chance in hell its gonna stop at homeschooling.

But California's governor is republican.

At this point, I'm beginning to believe that BOTH major parties have the lion's share of nutcases.

The governor of California is not a republican. He is a pro choice RINO. I think it would be interesting to have a one month shut down of every school or home school in the country. Every child shows up at the door of a public school and demands the education they are paying for in taxes. do this for a month and I believe we would end a lot of this type of stuff. then pull them out for a month and do it over again a month later if the first lesson was not learned. the teachers in the current schools or homes could spend the time in training, and doing some tutor work for the kids so they would not fall to far behind. I would love to see this go on for a year if necessary. Talk about making a shambles of the public schools. And every day, hold press conferences about the evil of the teachers union and their hold on education growth in the USA and some free choice in education.

It's not going to stand. In Oregoon [spelling intended] "they" tried to outlaw all but public schools back in the 20s. The US Supreme Court put a stop to it. I don't see this standing.
