Could not resist.
I am very thankful that this will not be a part of our local TLM. I pray for those who have to endure this.
This was "performed" at Mass when I was a child complete with felt banners and hand gestures. Here's hope that the end of an age is near. And thank you, Mr. Colbert, for such a hidey-ho rendition(And to the Cannonball, where I originally viewed this gem). It still brings tears to my eyes.

thank goodness we don't sing this ditty much at my church. this image has been seared into my brain. i wouldn't be able to sing it without suppressing gales of giggles.
