What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish?

I thought I would throw this one at there because I am sure there is some interesting regional fare that makes it to your table. I like an interesting stuffing and hope to make Goetta Stuffing as I did a few years ago. I wasn't sure if people would like it but it was good and even the kids ate it. For more info on "goetta", a regional favorite in Cincinnati, click here:

Then you will find Wiki, poking fun at us peasants here in the Queen City.
Wiki/Goetta
We have a local diner here that makes about anything you can imagine with goetta. It's just odd. But for peasants, it's amazing we know how to do anything other than boil a potato. I also clearly hijacked my own blog entry with goetta factoids.

Goetta looks really interesting! i like the oats they use to make it, I buy them in bulk for breakfast around here.

Speaking of pumpkin pie, this year we made ours from scratch...wow! What a difference.

We do the ham at Christmas usually. If we have a big crowd on Thanksgiving, we have had both ham and turkey.

I bet the pie was good! I haven't had from scratch in such a long time.
