Weh. I'm all low carb and stuff

Along with adding the virgin coconut oil and I am back on a high protein/high fat diet. I need to give this a go and hope my thyroid will heal so I can try to get pregnant again someday(soon). I will need God's help on this as I don't naturally gravitate to meat, cheese and eggs. One of my favorite lunch/snacks is hot slaw. It is served in many local restaurants and I've loved it since I was a child. For those that would like to try, here is the recipe:

Cook a lb. of bacon in skillet. Place bacon on paper towel and add 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar to the bacon grease(make sure heat is on medium-low.) To sweeten, add either 3 tablespoons of sugar or artificial sweetener(I use erythritol as it has little or no side effects). You can also add a dash of pepper. Use either bagged, pre-cut cole slaw or chop your own. Drizzle the hot mix over individual bowls of slaw and add crumbled bacon. One serving has under 10 carbs.

That was my "Martha Stewart" moment for the day. It doesn't happen often.

Good luck with that! I once lost 75 lbs going low-carb. While I have gained back 50 of those pounds over the last 3 years and have never gotten back in the groove, I know it can work. Just remember, "your mileage may vary", all diets are not for all people. If you don't see any results after a month, try something else.

God Bless!

I've been low carb before. I just don't enjoy it. I know, I should just offer it up(haha). The main thing is getting my thyroid evened out. I think that is why I haven't been successful on diets because I definately have will power and committment. Thanks for sharing.
