I had to share...

A fellow parishoner took this during the first communion last week. I am not able to share many photos here(making an exception with this one). For those of you following our personal blog, I posted the full lot of the photos from the entire day. If you didn't get the link, leave a comment with email(I won't publish) and I will send it over. I think I am caught up sending the link but if something happened and you didn't get it, let me know.
Isn't the church wonderful? It is refreshing to feel at home in a parish. I hope to get more photos myself this weekend during the may crowning.

Puppy pictures

This is a photo of when my parent's dog was a "baby" and from last year. We think she is rather cute.

Trash the Dress

Trash the Dress!

An interesting concept. I don't know how my anal retentive self feels about doing this myself. Would you do it? The photos, are, for the most part, very cool. The bride toting a firearm is odd. Funny but odd.
Some day when I am up to it, I will share some of my photos. Not as professional and I haven't trashed much...lol.

I think I need to add that you should read the "why trash the dress" section. It explains the finality of a marriage and that you won't need the dress again. That aspect is kinda cool. It's all in the name of art.

It's an INVASION!!!

The view outside my work studio! Nature is weird. It's like they are taking over my poor angel and pond. Click on the photos to see bigger versions of the furry guys. The last time I shared photos of my window view, everything was covered in ice! It's 83 degrees here now. Ahhhhh....

Beautiful local photos

St. Agnes in Park Hills
St. Patrick, Taylor Mill(1885)
I love local architecture and history. I found a few sites years ago that had amazing details and photos. This is the Northern Kentucky version here: Northern Kentucky Views

Also of interest, is this link to a forgotten Cincinnati Subway project:

You can check out other items on this site such as ghost towns and other oddities in Ohio. Not Catholic Church related, but interesting sites to get lost in, nonetheless. Enjoy!
